Shipping Policy

Northern Corvette will endeavor to process all in-stock orders within 2 - 3 days (unless stated otherwise) of when the order is placed, excluding weekends and holidays. Rush or same day orders are available for $5, and must be called in. For all Canadian or USA orders, please allow 5-8 business days to receive your order. Majority of Ontario will receive orders in 1-2 days.

Truck Freight: Parts noted for Truck Freight shipping and any other item exceeding carrier size or weight limits will be shipped by truck. All items being truck shipped must be prepaid or charged to a credit card.

NOT SHIPPING TO YOUR BILLING ADDRESS?

If your order is shipping to an address other than the billing address on your credit card, we may contact you to list the alternate address with your credit card company. This helps prevent fraudulent use of your credit card. To list the alternate address with your credit card company, just call the 800 number on the back of your card and ask the agent to add the address to the notes on your account. Listing the address before you place an order helps us process your order more quickly.

SHORTAGES, ERRORS OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

All shortages or errors must be reported within seven (7) days of receipt of order.  Call us immediately and we will process an exchange or replacement as required.  If you have a problem with the fit or function of a part, please call and speak to our product assistance department. If the part is determined to be defective, we will make arrangements to pick it up from you and process a replacement, subject to the manufacturer's warranty.

REFUSED SHIPMENTS

Shipping and Handling charges on refused shipments are the responsibility of the customer.

LIMITED WARRANTY

IMPORTANT: These current policies supersede any and all prior policies that may be found in older published material including, but not limited to, catalogs, marketing materials and email promotions.

Northern Corvette will not be responsible for any damage or loss caused by delays, failure, or any consequential damage arising from any cause whatsoever, nor for labor, transportation, or any other charges incurred in the replacement or repair of a defective item. This warranty to replace is the only warranty expressed, implied or statutory on which the buyer purchases the company's products.

**Northern Corvette will not be responsible for damages incurred on returns due to insufficient packaging.**

There are no expressed warranties or implied warranties including, but not limited to merchantability, performance, and fitness for a particular purpose. Warranty will not be in force for any merchandise that was not installed with accepted installation procedures or that has been altered in any manner.

To the extent that a product comes with a warranty from the original manufacturer, the buyer should contact the original manufacturer for any and all warranty repair or replacements.

All manufacturer's names, symbols and descriptions used are used for the purpose of identification only. It is neither inferred nor implied that any item offered by Northern Corvette is a product of, authorized by, or in any way connected with the vehicle manufacturer. The trademarks Corvette, Stingray, Chevrolet, GM, Heartbeat, ZR-1, Z06, AC Delco, and the Corvette emblems are trademarks of General Motors Corporation. ELECTRICAL PARTS WARRANTY

Northern Corvette does not allow any refunds on electrical items, they can only be returned for exchange. The reason that there are no returns on electical items is that too many people try to take advantage of the return system. Instead of using proper diagnostic procedures, some people resort to trial-and-error parts swapping when they don't know how else to fix an electrical problem. When parts they have installed do not fix their problem, they want to return them and try something else. Electrical parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component. Unplugging a wiring connector while the key is still on can create a momentary voltage surge of hundreds of volts. Crossing up the wrong wires or using the wrong test procedures can also damage sensitive electronics. We have no way of knowing whether or not the part has been used or damaged. Because of these risks there are no returns on electrical components. This policy will protect the next customer who might get a bad part that had been returned. Electrical items that are found to be defective within the first 30 days after receipt of product will be covered by our warranty policy. There are no exceptions to this policy.

CAR COVER WARRANTY

Car covers purchased from Northern Corvette are guaranteed by a manufacturer's limited warranty to be free from defect and flaws in materials, construction, and performance that are not attributed to normal use. Liability is limited to the original purchase price of the car cover. Warranty is void if product has been damaged by accident, misuse or other abuses not arising from defects in material or workmanship.

The warranty begins from the original purchase date and applies to the original purchaser only. If a defect in material or workmanship occurs within the warranty period, the cover will be repaired or replaced at the sole discretion of the manufacturer. Northern Corvette reserves the right to make the final determination on all warranties and defects.

This warranty does not cover scratches from trapped dust or dirt, fading caused by prolonged sun exposure, stains, or water damage. Please note that these covers are water-resistant, not waterproof.

If not cleaned regularly, covers may become clogged which can result in cloudy surfaces and other damage. Covering light colored objects with dark or bright colored car covers may result in color transfer. Some finishes may be damaged from car cover usage. Paint damage is not covered under warranty.

If you believe your car cover issue is covered under warranty, contact us for instructions on how to proceed with your claim.

Tips for Avoiding Damage:

  • Don't install car covers on newly painted vehicles. This could result in damage to repainted surfaces or lacquer paint.
  • Do not cover a vehicle with convertible top or windows down or Roof Panels or T-tops removed
  • Do not use a cover while towing the vehicle.
  • In cold environments, do not remove the cover in the unusual circumstance that a layer of ice has formed between the cover and the vehicle. Pour warm water over the cover to expedite thawing, as this ice must be thawed before removal.
  • Do not rely solely on the elasticized bottom of the cover in even moderate winds. Utilize the integrated security grommets in any substantial wind. If high wind conditions are present (30+mph), the covers should not be used.
  • Do not cover a vehicle that has been wrapped.
  • For vehicles in storage under a cover for long periods of time, check the status of the car every 3 weeks.
